Santa Ana: Crash Involving Child Injures At Least One

06.19.2020 | 10:42 PM | SANTA ANA – At least one person was injured after a two-car crash involving a child, Friday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision with possible entrapment at the intersection of South Village Way and East Wilshire Avenue, near the SR-55 Freeway, around 10:42 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a two-car crash involving a black sedan and a red Toyota with multiple passengers including a child.

All occupants were able to exit their vehicles prior to the arrival of first responders but firefighter paramedics evaluated several occupants and transported at least one to a nearby hospital.

The child, a small girl, was not seriously injured.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
