Santa Ana: Crash Into Tree Traps Driver

03.27.2022 | 1:28 AM | SANTA ANA – A driver who became trapped in a vehicle that crashed into a tree was freed by firefighters and rushed to a hospital, early Sunday morning.

The crash was reported on South Fairview Street just south of West McFadden Avenue around 1:28 PM.

When first responders arrived they found a white 2004 Toyota Camry that had collided with a tree in the center median.

The driver the vehicle was trapped in the wreckage and had to be freed by firefighter paramedics before being rushed to an area hospital. Their condition was not immediately known.

All northbound lanes of South Fairview Street were closed at West Dahl Lane until further notice while authorities investigated the crash.
