Placentia: Firefighters Rescue Injured Duck From Golf Course Netting

06.07.2023 | 12:36 PM | PLACENTIA – Firefighters rescued an injured duck that was stuck about 30-feet up in a golf course’s netting, Wednesday afternoon.

The stuck duck was reported near the intersection of South Rose and Castner drives around 12:36 PM.

When authorities arrived they located the injured duck stuck and apparently injured about 30-feet up in the netting.

Firefighters used an aerial ladder to access and free the duck.

The injured was unable to fly and slowly fell to the ground where it was captured and relinquished into the custody of animal care officials.

The netting that the duck was stuck in is intended to keep golf balls from leaving the boundaries of the golf course.
