Orange: Woman Dies After Driving Off Parking Structure

09.17.2021 | 9:20 AM | ORANGE – A woman in her 70s was dead after her vehicle drove off the fourth floor of a parking structure, Friday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a vehicle that had crashed through a wall in the St. Joseph Outpatient Pavilion parking structure, located in the 1100 block of West La Veta Avenue, around 9:20 AM.

When units arrived on scene they located a silver sedan that had drove through the fourth floor wall of the parking structure before landing upside down.

Bystanders flipped the vehicle over before first responders arrived however the female driver, described as a woman in her 70s, was already deceased.

The vehicle appears to have busted through a wall on the fourth floor of the seven story parking structure before falling to the ground.

The cause of the crash is under investigation but police do not suspect that the incident was self-harm related.
