Orange: Suspect Possibly Shot During Jewelry Robbery at Public Storage

09.12.2025 | 10:00 PM | ORANGE – A robbery suspect made off with jewelry but might have shot himself in the process, Friday night.

The robbery was reported at a Public Storage, located in the 1600 block of North Glassell Street, around 10:00 PM.

Preliminary reports indicate that a male suspect approached a victim and used a firearm to rob them of jewelry.

During the confrontation at least one shot was fired by the male suspect.

That shot might have struck the suspect who later fled in a black 2023 Mercedes-Benz C-Class, according to a bulletin advising nearby hospitals that the suspect might seek medical attention.

The Mercedes was reportedly driven by a female accomplice and was last seen heading southbound from the storage facility.

Additional information regarding the robbery or circumstances leading up to it was not immediately available.
