08.14.2021 | 2:20 AM | ORANGE – A pursuit that started in Buena Park came to an end with the suspect being placed into police custody, early Saturday morning.
A Buena Park police officer attempted to stop the driver of a silver 2000 Honda Accord for a traffic violation shortly before 2:20 AM.
The driver fled prompting a pursuit that entered the southbound I-5 Freeway before coming to a stop in front of an complex located in the 300 block of Jeanette Lane.
Undeterred by officers the driver tried to flee on foot but was quickly apprehended a short distance away.
