Orange: Officers Find Man Wounded In Porsche While Responding To Shots Fired Call

08.04.2021 | 10:30 PM | ORANGE – A man was found suffering from a possible gunshot wound as officers responded to reports of shots fired nearby, Wednesday night.

While responding to reports of shots fired in the 500 block of South Prospect Street, officers were alerted to an individual suffering from a possible gunshot wound inside a vehicle near the intersection of East Chapman Avenue and North Tustin Street around 10:30 PM.

Officers discovered that the driver of the vehicle, a white 2016 Porsche Panamera, had sustained an injury to his leg however it was unclear if the wound was from a gunshot.

Neither the male victim or his female companion were cooperating with law enforcement.

Firefighter paramedics transported the male victim to an area hospital in non-life threatening condition.

No arrests were made and no weapons were recovered despite police conducting an extensive search of both locations.
