The fire broke out at a home located in the 600 block of North Milford Street around 3:00 AM.

Crews arriving on scene located heavy smoke and fire showing from the attic of the single-story home and began efforts to extinguish the blaze.

Reports of solar panels and a partial roof collapse delayed crews as they waged an exterior attack on the fire.

The bulk of flames were extinguished in a little under an hour.

No injuries were immediately reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
