09.12.2025 | 11:57 PM | ORANGE – A person was pinned under a truck after the vehicle overturned while apparently doing donuts and its driver was placed under arrest on suspicion of DUI, late Friday night.
The collision was reported on North Cannon Street at East Goldenrod Lane when the white 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 overturned, leaving a male occupant pinned underneath.
Medics stabilized the vehicle before using a hydraulic jack to lift the truck off the trapped victim in an operation that took about 30 minutes.
The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. His condition was not immediately known.
The apparent driver of the truck was placed under arrest at the scene on suspicion of DUI.
Fresh tire friction marks at the scene suggest the truck was doing donuts when it lost control and departed the roadway.
All southbound lanes of North Cannon Street were closed at East Goldenrod Lane until further notice while authorities investigated the crash.
