Orange: Firefighters Extricate Woman After Two-Car Crash

08.09.2021 | 9:00 PM | ORANGE – A woman had to be extricated after a two-car crash left her trapped in a vehicle she was riding in, Monday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a two-car crash on Chapman Avenue near the SR-55 Freeway around 9:00 PM.

When units arrived on scene they located a grey Mitsubishi SUV and a white Chevrolet Bolt that had collided in the intersection.

A woman in the Chevrolet was trapped in the passenger seat and had to be extricated by firefighters using the Jaws of Life.

That woman along with the female driver of the Mitsubishi were transported to area hospitals for treatment.

The male driver of the Chevrolet was not seriously injured and declined medical treatment at the scene.

Police are on scene working to piece together the circumstances that led up to the crash.
