11.27.2021 | 12:54 PM | ORANGE – Smoke and fire shot from the second-floor of a building near the Orange Circle, snarling traffic as firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze, Saturday afternoon.
Multiple calls of the fire at Paul’s Cocktails, located in the 200 block of West Chapman Avenue, poured in around 12:54 PM.
Crews responding to the scene located a large column of smoke and flames shooting from the second-floor of the commercial building and began efforts to attack the blaze.
The bulk of the fire was extinguished in about 15 minutes but crews remain on scene to ensure there is no further spread of the fire.
One person was evaluated by firefighter paramedics for smoke inhalation but declined transport to a hospital.
Substantial traffic in the area persisted as a result of the fire and is expected to continue while authorities investigate the cause of the fire.
