06.01.2024 | 11:24 PM | ORANGE – A person was rushed to a hospital in critical condition after colliding with a center divider, late Saturday night.
The collision occurred on the westbound SR-22 Freeway west of Glassell Street around 11:24 PM.
When authorities arrived they found a silver sedan with its driver and solo occupant trapped inside.
Firefighters extricated the occupant before rushing them to UCI Medical Center as a “critical trauma” patient, according to radio traffic.
The cause of the collision is under investigation and there was no word on whether any other vehicles were involved.
