10.08.2023 | 10:30 PM | ORANGE – A driver was arrested following a pursuit that traversed several local freeways, late Sunday night.
The pursuit began around 10:30 PM when Orange police officers attempted to stop the black Chrysler 300 occupied by a solo male driver.
The driver refused to pull over, leading officers on a pursuit that reached speeds of 90 miles per hour and went wrong-way at times.
Authorities pursued the black Chrysler as it led the chase along the SR-55 and SR-22 freeways for about 30 minutes.
Eventually the pursuit ended when the driver found himself surrounded by officers near the intersection of East Palmyra Avenue and South Wayfield Street and was taken into custody without incident.
