Orange: 16-Year-Old DUI Driver Crashes Into Multiple Parked Cars

08.10.2021 | 11:26 PM | ORANGE – A 16-year-old girl is under arrest after a suspected DUI crash that damaged four other vehicles, late Tuesday night.

The crash was reported in the 2200 block of West Palmyra Avenue, just north of South Flower Street, around 11:26 PM.

Officers arriving on scene located a black Infiniti sedan driven by a 16-year-old girl that failed to negotiate a curve and collided with a series of parked vehicles before coming to rest on a sidewalk.

No injuries from the crash were reported the but impact left two of the four vehicles, a red Chevrolet Camaro and a silver Toyota SUV, with moderate to major damage. The remaining vehicles, a black Toyota pickup truck and a white panel van, sustained minor damage.

After conducting an investigation officers determined that the 16-year-old driver was under the influence and was placed her under arrest on suspicion of DUI.

Officers are also investigating the possibility that the black Infiniti was taken by the girl without its owner’s permission.
