01.19.2025 | 12:23 AM | NORTH TUSTIN – A e-bike rider was rushed to a hospital after being struck by a car, early Sunday morning.
Authorities responded to the traffic collision involving a black sedan and a white e-bike on Newport Avenue at La Loma Drive around 12:23 AM.
When authorities arrived they found the male e-bike rider down in lanes and began rendering aid.
Medics rushed the rider to a nearby trauma center for further treatment. His condition was not immediately known.
The driver that struck the rider, a female adult, remained on scene and was cooperating with law enforcement.
The circumstances surrounding the collision remain under investigation.
