09.21.2024 | 11:05 PM | NORTH TUSTIN – A man was killed after being ejected in from a rollover crash, Saturday night.
The deadly collision was reported at the intersection of 17th Street and Newport Avenue around 11:05 PM when callers reported a truck driving recklessly collided with a median and overturned, ejecting its driver.
First responders located a heavily damaged white pickup truck along with its male driver down in lanes. Medics began rendering CPR before rushing the single victim to an area trauma center.
A CHP log later indicated the man succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
The scene of the crash was closed to traffic for hours while authorities investigated the deadly collision.
The circumstances surrounding the collision remain under investigation though no other vehicles were believed to be involved.
