Newport Beach: Crash Leaves At Least One Dead, Police Seek Publics Help

10.02.2021 | 7:39 PM | NEWPORT BEACH – Police are seeking the public’s help after a crash left at least one person dead, Saturday night.

The crash involving a grey 2016 Toyota Tundra was located on northbound MacArthur Boulevard north of Bison Avenue shortly before 7:40 PM.

At least one person was in cardiac arrest and later pronounced deceased, according to radio traffic and a police press release.

Police released a photo of the Toyota involved in the collision on October 5, and are asking anyone who witnessed the vehicle or its occupants prior to the collision to come forward.

The Toyota is described as being a crew-cab model with lifted suspension, a blue Nevada license plate, and a white Los Angeles Charger lightning bolt logo on the rear window.

A police spokeswoman said that no further information would be released regarding the “open/active investigation.”
