01.05.2022 | 1:39 AM | MISSION VIEJO – A man was found dead inside a hotel room prompting a homicide investigation, early Wednesday morning.
Authorities were alerted to the death by employees at the Hampton Inn & Suites, located in the 28600 block of Marguerite Parkway, around 1:39 AM.
When deputies arrived on scene they discovered a male victim deceased inside a first-floor hotel room with evidence of foul play.
Homicide detectives were requested to the scene to takeover the investigation while other deputies scoured the the hotel for evidence.
The identity of the victim was not immediately disclosed pending notification of next-of-kin,.
