03.15.2022 | 1:25 PM | MISSION VIEJO – A husband was detained after his wife was found dead inside a home in what authorities described as a “suspicious” death, Tuesday afternoon.
Deputies discovered the lifeless body of a woman in her 80s inside a home in the 28100 block of Via Arriaga around 1:25 PM.
Circumstances surrounding the death were determined to be suspicious prompting authorities to detain her husband while homicide investigators responded to the scene.
The identity of the woman or her husband were not immediately released but authorities said they do not believe there is an outstanding threat to public safety.
