08.18.2021 | 2:20 PM | LOS ALAMITOS – The driver of a motorized scooter was killed after a crash involving another vehicle, Wednesday afternoon.
The collision occurred near the intersection of Claremore Lane and Cerritos Avenue (East Spring Street) around 2:20 PM.
Officers arriving on scene located a motorized scooter that had collided with a vehicle.
Thee driver of the scooter was injured and transported to a nearby hospital where they were pronounced deceased.
The driver of the vehicle and its occupants remained on scene and were cooperating with law enforcement.
