09.14.2021 | 10:06 AM | LONG BEACH – President Joe Biden departed California in Air Force One ending his brief trip to the state, Tuesday morning.

The President’s trip to California started in Sacramento with a visit to Cal OES and a tour of areas charred by wildfires on Monday.

After meeting with California Governor Gavin Newsom, the duo flew into Long Beach where they attended a rally of about 1,100 people at Long Beach City College and encouraged voters to vote ‘no’ in the gubernatorial recall election.

The California trip ended Tuesday with President Biden departing from Long Beach Airport on Air Force One to visit Denver, Colorado where he is expected to tour the National Renewable Energy Laboratory.

There, it is anticipated that Biden will deliver remarks outlining how his Bipartisan Infrastructure Deal and Build Back Better Agenda will help tackle the climate crisis, modernize infrastructure, and strengthen the country’s resilience while creating good-paying, union jobs and advancing environmental justice.
