02.02.2026 | 2:00 AM | LONG BEACH – Two people were shot near a fast food restaurant, early Monday morning.
The shooting was reported in the area of Downey Avenue and Artesia Boulevard, near the Rally’s restaurant, around 2:00 AM.
When officers arrived they found two adult male victims suffering from gunshot wounds to their lower body.
Both victims were conscious and breathing when they were transported by medics to nearby hospitals for treatment.
Two suspects were reportedly seen fleeing southbound on Downey following the shooting.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation.
