Lake Forest: Two Dead In Serious Traffic Collision

07.06.2023 | 10:56 PM | LAKE FOREST – Two people riding in a vehicle were killed when another vehicle collided with them, Thursday night.

The crash was reported at the intersection of Bake Parkway and Commercentre Drive around 10:56 PM.

When authorities arrived they located a two-car crash involving a silver 2014 Honda Civic and a silver 2021 Honda HR-V with major damage.

Two female occupants of the Honda Civic were pronounced deceased at the scene while the driver of the Honda HR-V, also a female, was rushed to a nearby hospital in unknown condition.

The deceased victims were not immediately identified though they were described as being in their 20s.

At least one person who is believed to have witnessed the collision stopped at the scene and was speaking with authorities.

It was unclear what led up to the collision or if intoxication may have played a role.
