Laguna Niguel: Investigators Seek Information Following Hit & Run Crash Involving Pedestrian

07.09.2022 | 3:00 PM | LAGUNA NIGUEL – Investigators are seeking information from the public’s following a hit-and-run crash that left a pedestrian in critical condition, early Saturday morning.

The traffic collision involving a pedestrian was reported on Crown Valley Parkway between Golden Lantern and Nueva Vita around 1:30 AM.

When authorities arrived they located the pedestrian, a 24-year-old woman, with life-threatening injuries.

Medics rushed the woman to an area hospital where she remains in critical condition.

The vehicle that struck the woman fled the scene without stopping and is being sought by investigators.

Preliminary reports indicate the vehicle may be a dark-colored 2014-2018 Subaru Forester with damage to the “front right and side view mirror,” authorities said.
