Laguna Hills: Altercation Leads to Shooting Outside 7-Eleven Store

03.24.2022 | 1:45 AM | LAGUNA HILLS – A man was injured after an altercation escalated into a shooting outside a 7-Eleven convenience store, early Thursday morning.

The altercation was reported outside the 7-Eleven convenience store located in the 25300 block of Alicia Parkway, near Paseo de Valencia, around 1:45 AM.

When deputies arrived they located a Hispanic male in his 30s suffering from a gunshot wound.

Firefighter paramedics treated the man on scene before rushing him to an area hospital where he remained hospitalized in unknown condition.

The suspected shooter, also described as a Hispanic male in his 30s, fled the scene prior to the arrival of authorities.

Officials said the shooting appears to be an isolated incident.
