Irvine: Three-Alarm Fire Rips Through Commercial Building

04.20.2022 | 1:32 AM | IRVINE – A three-alarm fire ripped through a commercial building leaving several units damaged, early Wednesday morning.

The fire erupted at a building in a commercial business park located in the 17700 block of Sky Park Circle around 1:30 AM.

When crews arrived on scene they located a single-story commercial building with heavy smoke and fire showing from one of the units.

Firefighters worked to quickly douse the fire although flames eventually spread across a portion of the roof charging adjacent units with heavy smoke.

A third-alarm was struck prompting additional firefighters to respond to the scene in an attempt to contain the blaze.

No injuries were reported and fire investigators are on scene working to determine the cause of the fire.
