01.18.2020 | 1:15 AM | IRVINE – A suspected DUI crash trapped one driver and left another under arrest, early Saturday morning.
Authorities responded to reports of a two-car crash with one person trapped at the intersection of Jamboree Road and Beckman Avenue around 1:15 AM.
Units arriving on scene located a white Mercedes-Benz sedan and a grey Lexus sedan in the middle of the intersection.
The driver of the Lexus was trapped and required extrication before being transported to an area hospital in unknown condition.
Officers administered field sobriety tests to the driver of the Mercedes-Benz before placing him under arrest on suspicion of DUI.
