10.13.2020 | 3:32 PM | IRVINE – An outdoor fire threatened to burn a building in the St. John Knits headquarters complex, Tuesday afternoon.
Officials responded to reports of a refuse fire burning outside the St. John Knits World Headquarters located in the 17600 block of Armstrong Avenue around 3:32 PM.
When crews arrived on scene they located an outdoor contents fire burning next alongside a single-story commercial building.
Firefighters doused the blaze before flames could spread inside the building and were working to mitigate any potential damage caused by smoke drifting into the building.
The cause of the fire and nature of the contents that burned was not immediately known.
