02.15.2022 | 10:05 PM | IRVINE – A man survived an incredible crash into a tractor trailer on a busy freeway, Tuesday night.
The big rig crash was reported on the southbound I-5 Freeway just north of Alton Parkway around 10:05 PM
When authorities arrived on scene they located a gold 2009 Toyota Camry that had collided with the rear of a tractor trailer.
The Toyota was embedded in the tractor trailer with a significant amount of passenger-space intrusion but the solo male driver was alive and not seriously injured.
Firefighter paramedics treated the man on scene and transported him to Mission Hospital in apparently stable condition.
The driver of the big rig was uninjured and the cause of the crash is under investigation.
