04.27.2024 | 11:40 PM | IRVINE – A freeway car fire was extinguished by firefighters, late Saturday night.
Multiple callers reported a sedan on fire along the southbound I-405 Freeway near MacArthur Boulevard around 11:40 PM.
When authorities arrived they found a vehicle with heavy fire coming from the engine compartment.
It took firefighters about 10 minutes to extinguish the fire though the vehicle sustained heavy fire damage.
No injuries were reported and the driver of the vehicle appeared to have remained on scene.
