Irvine: Fire Scorches Aerospace Manufacturing Business

04.10.2021 | 9:05 PM | IRVINE – A second-alarm fire scorched a commercial building occupied by an aerospace manufacturer, Saturday night.

The fire broke out around 9:05 PM at Elite Aerospace Group, an aerospace manufacturer located in the 1600 block of Reynolds Avenue.

Firefighters arriving on scene located the large commercial building with heavy smoke and fire showing from the roof.

Crews initiated an aggressive fire attack and, with the help of second-alarm resources, extinguished the fire in about 45 minutes.

Numerous pieces of valuable machinery and office supplies were saved by firefighters.

No injuries were reported and fire investigators are on scene working to determine the cause of the fire.
