Huntington Beach: Officer Escapes Injury After Crash

11.20.2020 | 11:38 PM | HUNTINGTON BEACH – A police officer escaped injury after being involved in a crash with another motorist, late Friday night.

The crash occurred near the intersection of Beach Boulevard and Robidoux Drive around 11:38 PM when the Huntington Beach police vehicle was struck by a grey Dodge Charger.

Firefighter paramedics evaluated the officer two occupants from the other vehicle but all refused treatment.

Initially officers detained the driver of the Charger but he was later released from handcuffs.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
