8.09.2019 | 12:59 AM | HUNTINGTON BEACH – A man was hospitalized after a drive-by shooting, early Friday morning.
Authorities responded to reports of a shooting with a man down in the 17000 block of Queens Lane around 12:59 AM.
Units arriving on scene found an adult male down suffering from at least one gunshot wound to his lower extremities.
Firefighter paramedics treated the victim on scene before transporting him to an area trauma center.
Police cordoned off the area surrounding the shooting as they photographed numerous shell casings and bullet holes into nearby homes.
The only suspect description was three individuals in a white Infiniti with a loud exhaust armed with a semiautomatic handgun.
An investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting is ongoing.
