Huntington Beach: Jaywalking Pedestrian Struck & Killed By Vehicle

02.08.2022 | 6:30 PM | HUNTINGTON BEACH – A jaywalking pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle, Tuesday evening.

The crash involving the pedestrian was reported on Beach Boulevard north of Heil Avenue around 6:30 PM.

When authorities arrived on scene they located an unknown age female that had been struck by a silver 2004 Toyota Corolla.

The female, who authorities believe was outside of a crosswalk when she was struck, died at the scene.

The driver of the Toyota, a 76-year-old female, was not seriously injured and remained on scene to cooperate with law enforcement.

Drugs or alcohol are not believed to have played a role in the collision.
