01.20.2022 | 11:20 PM | HUNTINGTON BEACH – A 52-year-old bicyclist was struck and killed by a vehicle, late Thursday night.
The crash was reported on Pacific Coast Highway north of Seapoint Street around 11:20 PM.
When units arrived on scene they located a bicyclist that had been struck by a red 2010 Lexus ES 350.
The bicyclist, a 52-year-old male, was pronounced deceased on scene as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.
Both the driver of the Lexus, a 79-year-old male, and his wife sustained minor injuries and were transported to an area hospital.
Police said the driver and his passenger were cooperating in their investigation and that drugs or alcohol do not appear to have been a factor in the crash.
