Hollywood: Metro Rail Line Shooting Leaves Woman Dead

10.10.2021 | 5:11 AM | LOS ANGELES – A shooting aboard a Metro Rail train left a woman dead in the Hollywood area, early Sunday morning.

The shooting was reported aboard a Metro Rail train that stopped near the intersection of Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street, in the Hollywood area, around 5:11 AM.

Officers responding to the incident located an adult female suffering from gunshot wounds aboard the train after witnesses say an altercation occurred between the woman and a male suspect.

Firefighter paramedics rushed the woman to an area hospital but she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased. Her identity was not immediately disclosed.

Initial reports indicate that he male suspect who shot the woman was visibly agitated and pacing on the train before the altercation occurred. He was described as a Hispanic male that was last seen wearing a blue jacket, blue shorts, dark hat, and a surgical mask.
