01.27.2026 | 2:24 PM | HAWAIIAN GARDENS – An operation to serve a search warrant prompted a bomb squad response after an unspecified suspicious device was locate inside a home, Tuesday afternoon.
Deputies responded to a home in the 21600 block of South Horst Avenue to serve a search warrant.
At around 2:24 PM a suspicious device was located in the home that prompted a bomb squad to respond to the scene.
A tactical robot was seen being deployed along with items being removed from the home though the exact circumstances surrounding the suspicious device and search warrant were not revealed.
Law enforcement later determined there was no threat and released the scene.
