Garden Grove: Police Search For Gun After Rollover Crash Injures Three

10.30.2021 | 2:30 AM | GARDEN GROVE – A rollover crash into a city yard left three people injured and prompted police to search for a firearm, early Saturday morning.

The crash was reported at the Garden Grove Municipal Service Center, a city yard located in the 13800 block of Newhope Street, around 2:30 AM.

When units arrived on scene they located a white vehicle that had jumped a curb and crashed through a fence before landing on its roof.

Three people, two males and one female, were injured as a result of the crash and rushed to UCI Medical Center for treatment.

For reasons that remain unclear police were searching the scene for a firearm among other evidence, according to a source familiar with the incident.

None of the injured victims had been shot, according to radio traffic.

Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident and a police spokesperson was not immediately available.
