Garden Grove: Police Arrest Sober Living Resident Who Stabbed Roommate

03.06.2022 | 9:30 PM | GARDEN GROVE – A man who is believed to have stabbed his roommate at a sober living home was arrested, police announced Sunday night.

Gustavo Pablo Munguia, 33, of Garden Grove, was arrested in connection with the Mar. 5, 2022 stabbing that seriously injured a man.

Police say Munguia attacked his roommate inside a bedroom at a sober for unknown reasons.

The victim positively identified Munguia and authorities tracked him to a home in Perris where he was arrested with the help of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office.

Munguia was charged with attempted murder and booked into the Orange County Jail.
