Fullerton: Officers Apply Tourniquet To Man Who Was Struck By Gunfire

07.14.2023 | 11:59 PM | FULLERTON – Police officers applied a tourniquet to the leg of a man that was struck by gunfire, late Friday night.

Callers reported gunshots in the 3100 block of East Pearl Street, near Cameo Lane, shortly before midnight.

When authorities arrived they found a male adult with a gunshot wound to his leg and applied a tourniquet to prevent the man from bleeding out.

Medics took over treatment of the shooting victim and rushed him to a nearby hospital in unknown condition.

Video shows officers scouring the scene of the shooting for evidence though the circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation.

No suspect description was immediately available.
