Fullerton: Motorcyclist Killed In Crash After Reportedly Running Red Light

08.11.2022 | 4:30 PM | FULLERTON – A 62-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a crash after reportedly running a red light early Thursday morning, police said.

The crash involving a 2022 Harley Davidson motorcycle and a 2014 Honda Accord was reported at the intersection of Euclid Street, south of Orangethorpe Avenue, around 6:46 AM.

When first responders arrived they located the motorcyclist down in lanes with serious injuries and began life-saving measures.

The motorcycle rider was rushed to a nearby hospital where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.

There was no word on whether the driver of the Honda was injured, although police said they remained on scene and were cooperating with law enforcement.

Initial reports indicate that the motorcyclist was traveling southbound on Euclid when he ran a red light and collided with the Honda that was making a westbound turn onto Orangethorpe.

Police said it did not appear that drugs or alcohol were involved.
