Fullerton: Man On Train Tracks Fatally Struck By Amtrak Train

03.28.2022 | 6:29 AM | FULLERTON – A man was struck and killed by an Amtrak train, Monday morning.

The incident was reported on the railroad tracks at West Commonwealth Avenue and South Brookhurst Road around 6:29 AM.

When officers arrived they located a male victim down on the train overpass. The man, who had sustained significant trauma, was pronounced deceased on scene.

The Amtrak train occupied by 89 passengers and 5 crew was halted for several hours as a result of the collision.

The identity of the deceased male was not immediately released.
