Fullerton: Man Dies After Being Struck By Three Hit & Run Drivers

06.27.2022 | 9:00AM | FULLERTON – Three drivers that fled after striking a pedestrian that later died are being sought by police, authorities announced Monday morning.

The 36-year-old male, described only as being white and possibly homeless, was pushing a cart filled with his belongings against a red light at the intersection of Harbor Boulevard and Southgate Avenue when he was struck by a white Dodge Charger that was traveling southbound with a green light around 1:30 AM early Monday morning.

Seconds after the initial impact a black Jeep Wrangler also struck the downed pedestrian. Then, about two minutes later, a white Honda Civic coupe also struck the man.

All three vehicles fled southbound on Harbor Boulevard without stopping or rendering aid, police said.

Medics rushed downed pedestrian to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.

Police are working to identify the driver’s of the hit-and-run vehicles and are asking anyone with information regarding the incident to contact Investigator J. Feaster at (714) 738-6812 or jfeaster@fullertonpd.org.
