01.16.2023 | 12:45 PM | FULLERTON – An elderly man plowed his Tesla into the front of a home causing significant damage to the building, Monday afternoon.
The crash into a structure was reported at a home in the 1400 block of West Roberta Avenue around 12:45 PM.
When authorities arrived they located a black 2019 Tesla Model 3 driven by an elderly driver that had collided with the side of a home.
The driver and solo occupant of the vehicle was assessed at the scene by medics before being transported to an area hospital for treatment.
Firefighters from Anaheim Fire & Rescue’s Urban Search & Rescue Team responded to assist in shoring up the home due to structural damage it sustained in the crash.
The cause of the crash is under investigation and additional details were not immediately available.
