02.18.2021 | 10:42 PM | FOUNTAIN VALLEY – Two people were injured after a three-car crash left them trapped in their vehicles, Thursday night.
Firefighters discovered the three-car crash at the intersection of Warner Avenue and Newhope Street while responding to a reported structure fire around 10:42 PM.
Crews determined that the driver of a black Tesla Model 3 along with the driver of a white Infiniti coupe were trapped in their vehicles and used specialized equipment to quickly extricate both victims.
Both victims were transported to area hospitals by ambulance in unknown condition.
The driver of the third involved vehicle, a green Toyota Avalon, was evaluated for injuries but declined medical treatment.
Police are on scene working to piece together the circumstances surrounding the crash.
