Fountain Valley: Stabbing Leaves Victim Dead, Suspect Arrested

11.24.2023 | 12:36 AM | FOUNTAIN VALLEY – Police arrested one man while another died as a result of a stabbing incident, early Friday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a stabbing victim on Edinger Avenue near South Karen Drive around 12:36 AM.

When crews arrived they located a male victim down suffering from multiple stab wounds in traumatic full arrest.

Medics administered CPR as they rushed the victim to UCI Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased. The victim’s identify was being withheld pending notification of his next of kin.

A suspect, identified as 23-year-old David MacDonald, of Huntington Beach, was arrested at the scene and booked on suspicion of murder.

The incident was believed to be isolated in nature and police said there is no outstanding threat to the public.
