01.19.2026 | 7:35 PM | FOUNTAIN VALLEY – One person was killed in a traffic collision involving a pedestrian, Monday evening.
The collision was reported near the intersection of Warner Avenue and Newhope Street around 7:35 PM.
When units arrived on scene they found an older model Toyota that collided with a pedestrian.
Medics pronounced the pedestrian, who’s identity was not immediately revealed, deceased on scene.
It was unclear if the driver of the Toyota sustained injuries.
The circumstances surrounding the deadly collision are under investigation and all traffic in the area was halted while police continued their investigation.
