Fountain Valley: Man Narrowly Escapes Injury After Crashing Into Building

02.23.2025 | 1:26 AM | FOUNTAIN VALLEY – The driver of a pickup truck was lucky to escape injury after his vehicle careened into a building, early Sunday morning.

The collision was reported in the 11500 block of Warner Avenue, near Newhope Street, when a black Toyota pickup truck collided with a building around 1:26 AM.

The driver of the pickup truck reported trying to avoid striking a vehicle that ran a red light when he lost control and veered into the building, narrowly missing a large tree and a concrete barrier.

No injuries were reported and intoxication was not believed to be a factor in the collision.

Firefighters evaluated the damage to the building and determined it was not structural in nature.

The vehicle that is said to have run a red light leading to the collision was not immediately located.
