Fountain Valley: Driver Dies In Crash With Railing

03.12.2025 | 11:45 PM | FOUNTAIN VALLEY – A driver was found dead following a collision with railing, late Wednesday night.

The collision was reported in the 16800 block of Harbor Boulevard around 11:45 PM when a red sedan traveling northbound lost control and collided with metal railing.

When authorities arrived they located the red sedan with major front-end damage atop the railing.

The vehicle’s driver and solo occupant was found unconscious and unresponsive inside the vehicle and later pronounced deceased at the scene.

The circumstances surrounding the deadly collision remain under investigation though at least caller reported that there appeared to be a speed contest involving the vehicle shortly before the collision.

All northbound lanes of Harbor Boulevard were closed at Warner Avenue until further notice while police investigated.
