Florence: Motorcyclist Injured After Being Struck By Hit & Run Driver

09.19.2021 | 1:13 AM | LOS ANGELES – A motorcyclist was injured after being struck by a hit-and-run driver, early Sunday morning.

The crash was reported in the 6500 block of South Avalon Boulevard in the Florence area around 1:13 AM.

Units arriving on scene located a male motorcyclist down on the sidewalk.

Firefighter paramedics treated the man on scene before transporting him to an area hospital in unknown condition.

Preliminary reports indicate that a red vehicle struck the motorcycle rider causing him to lose control. That vehicle is believed to have fled the scene.
